Season Announcement

Our 31st season is all about new beginnings and the fun, surprising, and joyful things that make theatre such a special community experience. We’re bringing five very different stories to the stage, and we can’t wait to share them with you in our new home at the Aluminum City Arts campus in New Kensington.

We kick things off in December with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, a colorful, high-energy musical about family, forgiveness, second chances, and finding your way home. In February, we dive into one of the greatest love stories ever told with Shakespeare’s timeless tale of passion and rebellion, Romeo & Juliet. April brings the gloriously strange and unexpectedly beautiful Ride the Cyclone, where a group of teenagers find themselves somewhere between life and death, with one last chance to tell their stories. In June, we’ll experience the wonderfully ridiculous world of The Divine Sister, an outrageous comedy about nuns, secrets, mistaken identities, and a very mysterious past – with a healthy dose of Pittsburgh flavor thrown in. We close the season in July with Once Upon a One More Time, a pop-fueled fairytale adventure about breaking the rules and finding your own voice, all set to the iconic music of Britney Spears.

And, as always, there’s more to come! Our KIDWORKS programming will be announced soon, continuing our commitment to giving young performers the opportunity to discover their voices and experience the magic of making theatre together.

After three decades of incredible memories, we’re thrilled to be opening the doors to our new home. Whether you’ve been with us for all 31 seasons or you’re meeting us for the very first time, we hope you’ll join us in celebrating our next chapter in New Kensington.
