Please prepare a 32-bar cut in the style of the show. An accompanist and bluetooth speaker will be available.
Ages 18+. All roles are available. Non-equity only.
Actors will receive a small stipend ($60) and 2 comp tickets.
Walk-ins will be seen as time allows.
We will also accept video submissions until 6 pm on Tuesday, April 8th. Email hello@thetheatrefactory.org to submit your self-tape, or if you have any questions.
Callbacks are by invitation only and will be held if needed on Thursday, April 10 at 7pm.
Rehearsals will begin in mid-May. See tentative rehearsal schedule. Please come prepared to share a list of your conflicts.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
Montague "Monty" Navarro
Male-presenting, Tenor
Handsome, clever, charismatic, vulnerable and endearing. Discovers he is in line to become the Earl of Highhurst, and intends to kill off the family that stands in his way.
The D'Ysquith Family (one actor)
Male-presenting, Baritone
These roles are all played by one actor: Asquith D'Ysquith, Jr., a dandy; Lord Adlabert D'Ysquith, Eighth Earl of Highhurst; Reverend Lord Ezekiel D'Ysquith, a clergyman; Lord Adlabert D'Ysquith, Sr., an elderly banker; Henry D'Ysquith, a country squire; Lady Hyacinth D'Ysquith, a benefactress; Major Lord Bartholomew D'Ysquith, a bodybuilder; Lady Salome D'Ysquith Pumphrey, an actress; Chauncey D'Ysquith, a janitor
Sibella Hallward
Female-presenting, Soprano
Monty's self-centered and flirtatious love interest who cares deeply about social status and wealth. The girl Monty loves.
Phoebe D'Ysquith
Female-presenting, Soprano
Monty's kind-hearted cousin who becomes another love interest, embodying innocence and grace.
Miss Shingle
Female-presenting, Mezzo-Soprano
An elderly maid who reveals to Monty that Monty is a part of the noble D’Ysquith family and motivates him to claim his inheritance.
Ensemble (6-12 actors)
All genders and vocal ranges. The ensemble must be adept at quick character changes, physical comedy, and supporting the principal cast through singing and dancing.
